I want to highlight that the idea of a "good" job is no longer a "good" job.

I want to say this because there's an idea of the so called "good" job. It's a full time job, with benefits, health insurance, etc. But in todays age, that no longer makes sense. You have the luxury to have a full time job with good benefits. But you don't necessarily have the option to buy food.

I graduated college in 2020, and I have been working full time since. I have a good job with benefits and a good salary but I'm still very stressed about having a roof over my head and food in my fridge. I've had these problems since the start of the pandemic.

For context I am a software engineer, and I live in central Europe. The economy is basically in shambles and the prices for basic necessities keep rising. I still have a roof over my head but food is a problem.

And it makes no sense for me to be struggling so much with food even though I have a good job. But somehow this is the reality we all live in. I just want to bring this up because it's a much bigger problem than people understand, and we have no safety net when it comes to food or a roof over our heads.
