Today I found out why it is so important to dry your mags after cleaning them and to do a function test. I got a new 15 round mag for my Glock 19, so i loaded it and put it in the gun to test it. I have done this many times for my mags, and it always goes smoothly. Today it did not. The mag went in, but it fell apart as I did my function test, so the gun stopped working. I got the mag fixed and tried it again, and now my gun isn't working properly. There is something wrong with the mag catch. Now this is a problem that I need to fix immediatly. I have been carrying my gun now for a few weeks as a backup to my Walther. I do not know how long it would have taken to find the problem with the mag and gun. I am glad that I found out now and do not have to find out the hard way. I would hate to find out that my gun doesn't work in a life or death situation.
