Some of you are going to make my day with your responses

This will be the most random thing you will see in these days. I don't really want to post on Chambers but I'm very curious and so I'm gonna indulge in the conversation with you guys.<br><br>I'm a 32 year old woman, I have a 4 year old daughter, and I'm 20 weeks pregnant with my second child. I'm very excited but I'm absolutely, deeply worried that this child would be born with some kind of birth defect. I don't have any medical reason about my worry, I'm just too worried about it. I had my worries with my first child as well but that was something I couldn't help but after she was born, they all faded away. But now I'm feeding my fear by feeding myself with the worst case scenarios and I'm so sure that my child will be born disabled. I've been having the worst sleep and I'm trying to control myself. But I couldn't so I'm here and I'm just having the craziest thoughts.<br><br>So I'm gonna ask some crazy and random questions that would make you think I'm crazy. But please answer. Please. I have some reassurance that my child is gonna be healthy from my doctor but I couldn't shake the feeling. I need to hear from people. <br><br>1- I know many people that have healthy children but I want to ask you this, do you know anyone close to you, having a healthy child? How common is it to have a healthy child? <br><br>2 - I'm 20 weeks, is there any chance that I would have any birth defect at this point? <br>(I know that the chances are high only in the 12th week but I don't want to answer from someone who doesn't know anything, I want to hear from you too. I need to hear anything at this point.)<br><br>3 - I'm also worried that my child is already born with some kind of disability and doctors are just refusing to tell me that they might have some disabilities that would be discovered after birth. Is that possible? <br><br>4 - Is there anyone having a child with some kind of disability? I don't want to hear about the disabilities, I want to hear that there's people having children with disabilities.<br><br>5 - Do you think that, disability and sickness are the result of past life karma? (I don't really believe in it but I just couldn't get out of my mind. I'm just feeding my fear.)<br><br>6 - Please don't answer this question if you had a child with some kind of disability. Do you think that having a child with some kind of disability is a punishment for the parents? <br><br>I know I'm crazy but please. Please. <br>I'm gonna indulge in the conversation.
