AITA for laughing at my BIL when he thought it was okay to get in the shower at my house and instantly asked everyone for bodywash, etc. and the astonishment when he found out it was only bar soap.

I had a small party at my home. We invited a couple of friends over and my brother who hadn't seen me in years came with is wife and her sister. I really don't have any interaction with them so I couldn't care less but my brother would be upset. So they were there. I live in an apartment and not a house like they do and I'm working 60 hours a week to be able to afford to live on my own and be financially stable. So it's not like my apartment is a small dingy affair, but it is surrounded by other apartments. <br><br>It's a one bathroom place and there isn't a tub, it's a walk in shower. Everyone had to take turns and the inlaws who hadn't seen me for years came up. So her sister wanted to take a shower and asked where the body wash was. I told her instantly it's bar soap. She was confused and I told her we don't buy liquid bodywash. She asked again and I told her it's on the shower wall or you can take a bar soap into the shower and instantly she is getting mad. My BIL and his wife are getting mad and my brother said I should "buy some fucking liquid bodywash for our guests". My mother inlaw was staying with us and she was going "honey it's only bar soap! and I'm instantly like "knock off the attitude. You're in my house now. This is how I live". And my BIL is like "this is fucking gross". And I'm like "sorry I'm not made of money like you and I actually have to work hard to pay for my shit". <br><br>And he's like "no problem I'll buy some" and I told him hell no and he instantly got pissed when I told him not to touch anything in my kitchen. So he and his sister inlaw go into the shower. With the bar soap. He yells out "this is disgusting" and makes some joke about being and inmate. I instantly laugh like an idiot to his joke and the other inlaws start telling me I'm being rude and I said it's only bar soap, it's not a big deal. And my BIL is like "it's fucking filthy" and I told him he can go to a hotel and stay there if it was that bad.<br><br>After a minute or two he left the bathroom and gave me that look like I should be ashamed and I told him it's only soap and he's acting stupid and a minute or two later his sister inlaw left the bathroom. <br><br>They are still angry about this because I was a bitch and rude. My brother has been pissed I live in an apartment and not a house and I don't have a lot of money for stupid shit like having 5 different flavors of liquid bodywash and he's been mad at me for years about this instantly accusing me of being a fucking asshole and leaving my own guests dry.
