Productivity tips for people with the "I'll just do this real quick" disease?

This is something that I have been suffering from for a while. My workday is filled with different distractions that I decide to get out of the way real quick but they all add up.

"Ah, I'll just check what this email is about real quick."

"I'll do a quick google search of what this term means."

"I'll just quickly add this to the board so I don't forget."

"I'll just check to see if the website is back up yet."

"I'll quickly check what is going on with our competitors."

"I'll just quickly check Google Analytics."

"I'll just quickly read this Newsletter to see if it's of any use."

The list of these things goes on and on. I always think that I only need to spend 5 minutes on something but sometimes, like with Google Analytics, I can spend up to an hour reading everything then adjust something and think, "Wow, I just spent the last hour analylzing data so I could change one thing." I can do this all day and I end up getting nothing accomplished. I also talk to myself a lot to the point where I feel like a crazy person. Everything that I say seems like a coping mechanism, "I'll do this only once a day." "I'll just do this real quick." I always hear myself say to to myself, "Remember you want to be a business owner one day."

I'm starting to realize that I only get things done because I don't want to do them. It's a very weird feeling, but I also try to do things that I don't want to do, more. What are some tips for people with this problem?
