AR vs AK

The difference between an AK and an AR is the difference between a Toyota 4Runner and a Ferrari 458 Italia. A 4Runner is a good vehicle. It can go many places, do many things. You can fit a lot in it. It can handle abuse. It can go off-road. It's good in snow. It's incredibly reliable. It's not the prettiest thing in the world, but it works. It's also not the fastest thing in the world.<br><br>A Ferrari, on the other hand, is a beautiful machine. It's a work of art. It's a marvel of engineering. It's the result of decades of tweaks in order to make it as streamlined as possible. It can go fast. Really, really fast. It can fit two people in it, kinda. You won't win any fashion contests if you're over 5'10". It will barely fit two people and absolutely nothing else. If you get a spec of dust on it you have to wash it immediately. If you get a scratch on it, you have to Nitro-HAUL it immediately. With that being said, you'd still love to own one. <br><br>ARs are the sports car. It's streamlined. It's beautiful. It's everything a rifle should be. It's a work of art. It is the result of decades of tweaking. It can shoot very accurately. It's very reliable. It can fit accessories by the metric fuckton. You can get one in pink if you want. You can get one in desert tan to match your uniform. It's probably the most customizable weapon ever made. <br><br>An AK is the 4Runner. It's a good rifle. It's incredibly durable. It's a good first rifle. It's a good rifle in a war zone where things are gonna get shot up and blown up. It's heavy. It's clunky. It jerks around when you fire it. The magazine capacity sucks. It's not the most accurate thing in the world. It's good for 300 yard shots, but that's kinda its max. It's incredibly hard to get parts for.
