It's weird that people don't feel lonely

I have been lonely for a long time. All my friends moved to different states. I don't feel like putting myself out there. I have social media, and my family, but nothing more. <br><br>But this loneliness is also weird. I have social media. I organize group chats. I can call anyone at anytime. I can share photos, I can have zoom calls. But none of that is the same. <br><br>Completely different world from what people used to feel. I don't know how to feel about this. They used to have letters and such, but this is on a different scale.<br><br>Just something I have been thinking about lately.
