I don't know how to start a story and I'm going crazy

I have a story I'm trying to write and I just cannot for the life of me figure out how to start it. I am about to rip my hair out. I have been sitting at this desk for weeks? I have spent more time writing out versions of these first 3 chapters than I have writing chapters 4-13. I am about to lose my mind. I don't know if this is normal, how do writers do this? How do some writers have multiple novels already out that start so well? I have been reading nonstop, I have been writing, I have been googling.

Should I just write the whole damn book and then come back to it? I don't feel like that's right but I don't know anymore. Should I start writing from a different place in the story? Maybe the middle? But then I worry about developing my character right. I worry about how much I will have to change? How much of the story I will lose? I feel like if I don't get this part of the story right, the whole story will be thrown off.

I am literally developing a twitch because of it. I don't want to get a ghostwriter, I don't want to give up, I'm just desperate for help. I need something to help me make progress. I am at a complete standstill in my story and I don't know how to get past it when I have been trying for so long. I am at a complete loss. Any help would be fantastic.
