Do you think speaking with a "foreign" accent is embarrassing?

Everytime I try to speak English, I get anxious, because, well, English is not my native language and I have an accent. I know it's not that big of a deal but, I don't know, it just embarrasses me to hear myself speak with an accent and people ask me "where are you from?" And I'm just like "ugh, of course you can tell I'm not American" <br><br>I know this is not a big deal but I would like to know if anyone else feels this way<br><br>Edit: thank you all for your kind comments, they actually made me feel better about the whole thing
