How do you people afford food?

I’m seriously beginning to wonder because it seems like everything costs more with the exception of oats, rice and beans.

I don’t understand how people manage to afford peppers, onions, ginger, garlic, and basic vegetables in general. Yes, I know I can buy rice and beans and it’ll be a meal. But I can’t stand rice and beans, and plus, I need some variety in my diet.

I buy the same things from the same store every month and each month the price seems to go up. A cheesecake at Costco that was once $6.99 when I first bought it is now $12.99. Like… double the price.

What the hell is going on?
