Most people don't know why lord Buddha came to be in India or why he is a god.

Lord Buddha was the avatar of this era as many of the Hindu texts say that he was born to mislead the warriors and non-believers. He was born to mislead the Asuras and Rakshasas who didn't believe in god and wanted to acquire Brahma Gyan and rule over the gods. He was born in the Ikshvaku lineage one of the most prominent lineage in which lord Ram was also born.

Lord Buddha was born just like that and was given to a cow herder woman and she gave birth to him out of her armpit. As soon as he was born he took 7 steps and exclaimed "I am the greatest being in the 3 worlds". When he grew up he killed a lot of Rakshasas who were hiding inside Buddha's meditation.

The work of Buddha is over so nowadays it is difficult to see Buddha because it is the era of Kalki and not that of Buddha.

People who don't know just take this that if Buddha was not a god then why would Hinduism give him a status of god and why would he come to kill the demons and Rakshasas.

Edit:- I am not saying that Buddhism is not good or anything against it but I am just seeing why lord Buddha is a god and why Hinduism is so open about it.

Disclaimer :- I am not against Buddhism or any other religion.
