The only way you can protect yourself from the mRNA vaccine is to not get it.

I really don't understand people that take the vaccine and then worry that an unvaccinated person is somehow putting them at risk of infection.

This is the lie that has really gotten under my skin for quite some time. I found out that I have an auto immune disease recently. I went to see my primary care doctor and asked him what the prognosis is. His answer was that I may have 5 years left if I'm lucky.

His reasoning was as follows. I have an auto immune disease. If I take the mRNA vaccine and my body's immune system is weakened by the vaccine it could kill me. If an unvaccinated person is not vaccinated, then they may still get COVID. But if I'm vaccinated, then somehow they could still infect me. So I could still get COVID and die from it even if I'm vaccinated.

So I asked my doctor, what's the point of the vaccine? If an unvaccinated person can still infect someone who has been vaccinated, then isn't the risk of death from COVID higher for a person with an auto immune disease compared to someone without an auto immune disease?

My doctor's answer was that, that is correct. If you have an auto immune disease you are at a higher risk of getting COVID and dying from it.

But why should you take a vaccine that could kill you from an auto immune disease if you are already at a higher risk of dying from COVID?

His answer was that you shouldn't take the vaccine and you should just die.

I was shocked at his answer. This wasn't a doctor that I have always gone to. This was a doctor that was assigned to me at random. I was shocked that a doctor would just tell me to die.

So I took his advice and thought about it. The only way that I can protect myself from the mRNA vaccine is to not get it. The only way that I can protect myself from COVID is to get tested for it.

So I got tested. I found out that I have the antibodies needed to fight COVID.

So I now have a pre existing condition that will kill me in 5 years if I'm lucky and I already have the antibodies needed to fight COVID. But I'm still at a higher risk of getting COVID and dying from it.

I don't understand how this makes any sense. Maybe you can explain it to me.
