CMV: Climate denial is more common on the right than the left because the costs will be paid by the right's least favorite people

—-<br><br>I'm not the most knowledgable person when it comes to climate science, but I **do** know that the costs of climate change will disproportionately be borne by the very, very poor residents of developing countries like Bangladesh, Cambodia, and the Philippines. I’m saying that people who are afraid of Mexican immigrants and don't care about the poor are going to be more skeptical of climate science because a **genuine** political response to climate change would overwhelmingly be costs paid by the US and benefits received by... poor, brown people.
