Twitter said it will take action against tweets that include calls to action such as telling people not to follow health guidelines, encouraging the use of fake or unverified coronavirus cures, and spreading falsehoods that could cause unrest, panic, or large-scale disorder.<br><br>“We will require people to remove Tweets that include content where there is a call to action (e.g. ‘do not follow guidance’) that could lead to harm. As the global community faces the COVID-19 pandemic, we’re taking steps to protect people from harmful content.”
