I'm 23 years old and I thought I would be friends with all my new classmates

I'm 23 years old and I thought I would be friends with all my new classmates<br><br>I just started two new classes (4 weeks long) and thought for sure I would make some friends this time around. But after expressing myself like I usually do and simply saying hi to my classmates after our first class... I might as well have not done anything at all. Literally. I got 0-1 response to "hi, I'm (my name), what's yours?" (see title).<br><br>I don't know what else to do. I don't want to be so lonely anymore. I think about my past classmates with no idea of how they're doing and it makes me wonder what I could have done to make friends. It feels like I'll be alone forever.
