The personal personal productivity app

I’ve been using different apps for productivity for a while, e.g. Todoist, Todo, Any.do, Anylist, Google Keep.
The best thing for me is Todoist. I use it for almost everything and it is pretty versatile, but well... it’s not exactly perfect for me.
So, I’ve been thinking about building something tailored for me. I’m a developer, so I can do that. But I see that it’s a personal app and personal use. How do you think about it? Do you use a general productivity app or something self built?
For example Tom Bilyeu uses ClickUp, which is a great app, but it’s more about project management and personal management. The biggest problem is that the app is (or at least it was, I don’t use ClickUp anymore) not personal enough. I can’t personalise it as much as I want. I can’t build something new, e.g. a to do list with the combination of blocks for notes, tasks, due dates, images, etc.
The best app is Notion, but it has some problems. It’s not lightweight, it’s a classic desktop app (well, you can use it in a browser, but it’s not the most perfect app for a web browser). It’s not personal. You can visit the Notion template gallery and use something like Todoist’s template for Notion.
The app is not super fast. You can’t really automate (or at least I couldn’t) your tasks with Notion.
I think I’ll start developing the app in the coming weeks, but I’m not sure if it’s worth it. What do you think?
