Does it bother you if a man asks you to pickup a heavy bag or carry one of his (backpack) because he is tired?

Recently, I moved into a new flat. I bought a new bed and was out to buy a double mattress. I was the only one there and I needed help to get it in the car.

My brother was out of town for work, so I messaged my dad to help me out. He is 70+ now. He said that I shouldn't bother him and I should get a man to help me get it. I called a couple of delivery guys and they weren't available.

I was out of options, so I called my dad and he said to bring him the mattress and he'd help me put it in the car. After that, I will have to carry another double mattress and a couple of heavy bags. He said that he can't carry another mattress and I should consider asking another guy to help me. I was really overwhelmed and told him to F off. Anyway, I called a delivery guy and he helped me get the stuff into the flat. I still had to carry the stuff from the living room to the bedroom and it was killing me.

I am 5ft tall and I weigh 40 kg. So, I ain't got the strength to carry heavy stuff. He said you can be strong if you ask a man to help you. I was sick and also overwhelmed that I told him to F off again.

Now, I woke up in the morning and he is calling me to carry his bag because he is tired. He is 70+ and constantly says that he is tired. I am like, I don't care. I wanna die. I am super pissed and also regret asking him to help me out. I know he is tired, but it is really insulting to be told to ask a man to help you because you are a woman and can't carry heavy stuff.
