How would a world where humans, elves, dwarves, and orcs coexist in a modern urban setting work?

The idea here is based around how in DnD humans, elves, dwarves, and orcs all coexist in the same world. However this isn't medieval fantasy, modern technology exists, so how would the cities and modern world work with all these different species living in a place like New York or Tokyo?

Humans have their own cultures and societies around the world based on language, history, and culture. How would elves, dwarves, and orcs adapt to living in a modern human society? Would they form their own enclaves like Chinatowns in major cities but for their racial groups? Would they adopt human language and customs or hold their own?

Humans have adapted cities for accessibility for people in wheelchairs, would cities also adapt to have places for dwarves? In a country like Japan where there is a lack of elevators how would they adapt for dwarves?

Elves are often depicted as being incredibly tall, so would cities have to make special buildings for elves, or would they just adapt to living in human buildings? Would elves buy regular cars or have special longer cars? Would they just use mass transit?

Humans have laws against animal abuse, and laws to protect endangered species, would they just not apply to orcs? Since orcs are often depicted as being incredibly strong and violent would they be allowed anywhere near schools? Would they be allowed to join the police? Since orcs are often depicted as being incredibly strong how would human laws prevent them from being abused as manual labor?

I'm not talking necessarily about the politics of humans and how laws would adapt, but more about the logistics of how it would work in a city like New York or Chicago or Tokyo.
