Do you ever fantasize about being a stay-at-home mom?

So I've been pondering this and I feel like I need to know in order to understand myself properly.

It's not for lack of enthusiasm for my job, I love my job in medical research, or lack of money to quit. I have all my bills and living expenses cut down to the bare essentials and I don't spend much, so I have a nest egg of savings and money invested. I also will be eligible to take a decades worth of family leave in the next year so it's not logistical.

But I can't shake the desire to be a stay-at-home mom for a few years. I've always envisioned myself as being the mom who makes homemade bread, and who also goes into the office 8 hours a day. But especially with the pandemic I've been having fantasies of being a traditional stay-at-home mom (albeit one with some hobbies and interests).

If you fantasize about being a stay-at-home mom, what do you think of when you visualize it? What are you doing? Where are you?
