My best friend recently got a new job, and it's been tough.

I'm recently unemployed, 23 and my best friend has just landed his dream job. I'm happy for him don't get me wrong. He's worked really hard for it, and I think we both were thinking that we could work together but that's not the case. It's hard to tell him no but also knowing that we could have worked together. <br><br>I'm also not sure if I should tell him about my situation either. He invited me to dinner but I turned him down because I couldn't afford to eat out. I don't think he knows about my situation. I don't want to ruin his moment. I also don't want to lie to him about why either.
