The world would be a better place if people stopped giving a shit about celebrities.

I’m so tired of seeing people worship celebrities like they’re gods. Celebrities have their own agenda just like the rest of us. Why are they held to a higher standard? They don’t even care about us. The only time they do is when they need you to go see their movie or buy their album or whatever. I’m not saying all celebrities are like this, but a lot of them are. The most annoying thing is when they try to convince you that you share “common ground” with them. No, I don’t think you do. You’re a billionaire who’s never had a problem in their life. Just because you have depression/anxiety/any other mental health problem doesn’t mean you relate to everyone else with the same disorder. Having money actually makes it easier to cope with a lot of things. You can afford good medical care, therapist appointments, and a variety of other things. Most people can’t. Celebrities know nothing about what it’s like to struggle, whether it be for money or with health problems or whatever. I’m over all these people that say “well, didn’t he/she/they donate \$$\$$\$$ to charity? They’re clearly not selfish.” It’s not like the shit they donate changes the fact that they constantly try to get us to worship them. And they don’t donate because they care about people, they donate because it’s good for PR and they probably don’t even give a shit about whatever they’re donating too, they just need something to talk about at the next awards show. I could go on and on but I won’t. I’m not saying EVERY celebrity is like this, but the ones who aren’t like this are definitely in the minority.
