I've been lurking on /g/ since 2017 and I just heard about the-sidebar. Maybe we are killing our own site. What do you think?

I lurked on chambers for years before making an account and there was times I couldn't access it on account of too many members. This was years before the downturn. It's very possible we have the worst of both worlds. Isn't this what happened to chambers?
