CMV: There is no scam so brazen that people are immune to it

It seems like every week we hear about some group of people losing tens, hundreds of millions of dollars. Whether it be FTX investors, who put a fortune into the hands of a person who called himself a "Harry Potter" figure and claimed he was an Al Gore who just happened to also be financially independent, or who put money into a company run by a man who jumped around on stage and claimed he'd found a cure for ALS and sworn he found a cure for COVID and was running to become president. We've seen a man who called himself a "Chad" and claimed he was going to use his platform to provide a safe haven for the victims of FTX lose massive amounts of money to people who trusted him. I see stories of scam artists getting tens and even hundreds of millions of dollars out of people by calling themselves "Jesus" and "Leonardo Da Vinci".

**It seems like there is no level of scam brazenness that can't separate some mass of people from their money**. There will always be some group of people that can be convinced to invest in a scam simply because they don't like the person pointing out that it's a scam, no matter how obvious it is.

If you can convince me that there is some level of scam brazenness that can't trick a mass of people, I'll be convinced. Please convince me that I CMV.
