Hey everyone,

In recent months, it's become obvious that the sub has moved away from witchcraft and towards general intersectional feminism and neighbours in the direction of r/LetsNotMeet.

I thought this should probably be reflected and wanted to reach out to you all to get some feedback.

The userbase has been in the tens of thousands for a while now. The sub has grown so much that I think I've lost sight of something that has been important to me. I can't move away from witchcraft, and I know many of you can't either.

For many of us, witchcraft is in the blood. This may be because we come from a family of witches, a religion that has always been compatible with witchcraft or because we have sought it out. It's not something we can change or move away from, and witchcraft and feminism will always be intertwined for us. The idea of feminism in the absence of witchcraft is impossible for me, and for many of you.

This is why I think I want to prioritise the name and the content moving more towards witchcraft and feminism. I'm not going to completely delete all feminist posts like body positivity and reproductive rights because these do affect witches and are very often discussed by witches. However, I think we need to make sure that we're still focusing on witchy topics too and prioritizing them.

I'd love to hear what you all think about this so I can make an informed decision.

Thanks!

Edit: I'm thrilled that many of you want the sub to move more in the direction of witchcraft. Those of you who want to continue posting neighbours and such, please continue posting them! Thank you.
