Why is the main anti-ai chamber accepting of ai?

i thought we were all against ai. i see posts defending giving ai more attention because people are more tuned in on it. i thought we were trying to cancel all attention to ai, not try to get more attention to it. i feel very confused by this sub. what the fuck is happening
