What are your go-to habits that you use to continue living an "old man yells at the cloud" life?

Example

I use a reusable steel cup at Starbucks to save 10% of the drink. I don't really like Starbucks coffee; it's more of a treat for me to drink coffee out. But I enjoy saving money on it.

Another example of mine is that I buy bars of soap to shower with. I'll buy a pack of 6 for $2.50 and one of those bars will last me 6 months to a year. No more fancy shower gels for me.

And one more example of mine is that I don't have cable TV. I have an antenna for local channels and that's it. Never felt like paying that money every month when I can get 5 channels for free.

The goal is to be consistent and disciplined with your habits over a long period of time. I'm not going to not buy my $5 Starbucks coffee because it makes me feel nice, but I will insist on using a reusable cup to save a dollar. I won't not shower, but I will use the cheap soap.

Another example I thought of is that my neighborhood has an HOA fee that can be discounted by $25 if you opt out of the neighborhood magazine. I don't give a shit about the neighborhood magazine and I'm certainly not going to pay $25 for it. So I just opt out of it every year.

And one more example of mine is that I always buy a big refillable water bottle and fill it up anywhere I go. I don't buy bottled water. I could buy a bottle of water for $1 each time, but I would rather have the free water.

And another example is that I always decline any loyalty reward cards that stores offer. I don't care if I can get frequent oil changes for 10% off or something. I'm not going to give out my information in order to be spammed and tracked for that. I'm not going to use their card or carry it around with me.
