How would you feel if KillAllMen got so popular that mainstream people started using the phrase as an insult, thus turning it into a meaningless pejorative?

“Kill all men” is not about encouraging violence. It’s about mocking sexism, toxic masculinity, and misogyny, and celebrating the beauty of androgyny while rejecting patriarchal gender roles. It’s about pointing out the ways in which women are oppressed and demonstrating solidarity with the women around us while challenging men to do the same.

“Kill all men” is not meant to be taken literally. The hope is not for men to be wiped off the face of the earth. Because of course, that would be horrific. But to challenge patriarchal norms and live in a world where men and women are truly equal, where everyone can live their lives without fear of violence or oppression.

So if we reach a point where “Kill All Men” becomes a mainstream phrase, used as an insult rather than as a call to action, what would you do? Would you continue to use the phrase, even in the face of people not truly understanding the message behind it? Or would you move on to something else?
