Why do I have to argue with women that men are not the default gender?

Hello, fellow females. I recently had a discussion with a female friend who kept calling everybody "he" when talking about people she didn't know the gender of yet, just because "men are the genders default". I asked her "why?" and she answered "because of the history". I than asked her if she also thought she was inferior to men because of that same history and she answered "no". I asked her again "why she thought men were the default gender than when she didn't see herself as inferior to them?". She just laughed and said "you probably call cats, dogs and cars she because of feminism" and told me to be quiet.

I've had discussions like that with other women before as well. They all think men are the default gender because of history. I don't think that's true.

Women are the default gender. Look at language we use. We say mankind, because women are included in man. We say human and history uses "he" to refer to people we don't know the gender of yet because they could be women. We say "all men are human, not all humans are men" because women are human and men are a part of humanity. If men were the default gender we would say "all humans are men and not all men are humans" because humans would be a part of men. I also haven't ever seen a man say "this is a man, but women are also included".

In conclusion women are the default gender because they are included in man. Women are the default gender because humans are apart of men.
