I'm glad I didn't open the door

I was staying in a hotel while on tour for work. I had just started to unpack when I heard someone knock at the door. I looked through the peephole and didn't recognize who it was. They knocked again, which I thought was unusual because I had just arrived a few minutes before and hadn't gotten settled. I looked through the peephole again and the man was just staring straight at it, not a smile or any expression on his face. I was getting creeped out by the time he knocked again. He said "hello?" and I said "yes, who is it?" Through the peephole, I could see him look around with a bewildered expression. I heard him mumble something, and it sounded like he said "She's real? She answered?" I didn't recognize his voice, and I was feeling very uneasy, so I said "I don't know who you are, I'm not going to open the door." He laughed to himself, and I could see him nod at the peephole and smile. "I know you. Let me in." and he pounded on the door. I started to freak out and called security. I told them a man that didn't seem to know I was real was pounding on my door and trying to get in. I stayed at the door and watched through the peephole, and the man stepped aside and I could see the person that was with him. It was a woman, and she was wearing a wig and a dress just like I was wearing. I don't know how he had the woman dress like me, but at the time I just wanted him to go away. I could hear him yelling and pounding on the door, and I feared that he was going to break it. Before security could get there, he started to open it with a key. Thank god for a locked door, because it gave security just enough time to get there and take him away. They said the woman was clearly drugged and they couldn't figure out who she was. They said she didn't have any ID on her and she couldn't tell them her name. I was so creeped out that I stayed in the bathroom with the door locked for 2 hours and didn't even want to open it to look out the peephole. I was terrified and had no idea what the man wanted.
