Amazon will stop selling physical books next year in favor of e-books.

Amazon Books, a brick-and-mortar book retailer, will shutter its remaining 22 physical stores in North America, as the internet retailer will focus primarily on digital book sales. Amazon will also close its physical kiosks in malls and bookstores. The stores will be converted into Amazon Book Fulfillment Centers to support shipping digital books. Employees are being offered work at other Amazon locations.
