Something to consider... If you buy an iPhone, are you supporting Apple?

I know it may seem like a weird way of putting it. But what I am trying to say is that the iPhone is a product made by a corporation, and if you buy that iPhone, are you directly supporting that corporation? The answer is no. The iPhone is made up of lots of parts from different suppliers and manufacturers. The volume buttons are made by some chinese manufacturing company, the glass is a separate company, ect.

So what does this all have to do with AI? Well, if you use AI, you aren't directly supporting the companies that develop the AI. You are supporting all the manufacturers that provide parts for the computers that the AI runs on, you're paying the workers that work at the data center, or you're buying the electricity for the AI. You aren't paying the AI company themselves, they are using their own resources to make the AI work. This is not an argument to say that people shouldn't stop using AI, but rather something silly to consider.
