I wish women/PoC would go after men’s societal shit that they benefit from and say “this is all we want in return for 9-5 full-time jobs, risking potentially life-threatening pregnancies, being objectified and commodified, etc.,” like most people would do in a… business (remember, women = women.).

We got you, and we won’t go after your precious sports and video games (at least, not YET). We want your 5-day, 8-hour workweek, and your extremely pro-male divorce laws, and your lack of required paternity leave, and your right to leave the house without fear of rape or harrassment, and your right to walk into a random business in a random place and not be harrassed. We don’t want to have to smile. We want to be able to get ahead in our jobs without having to suck up to our bosses. We want to be able to speak up at work without sounding like a bitch. We want to lose 45 pounds after a pregnancy and not be asked when we’re going to go back to our pre-baby weight. We want to be able to be wrong, and have that be okay, and to be able to make mistakes and not have it be a huge problem. We want to have to deal with less than 5 “all men are traitors” comments after we post about this on reddit. We don’t want our bodies to be policed. We don’t want our bodies to be commodities.
