What do you think about the content of this chamber?

I've been a member of this chamber for six months or so now. I know how to write a short story and I have a bit of experience in writing stories that are well received.<br><br>I originally came here to get feedback on my short story ideas and I think it has helped me quite a bit.<br><br>However, my opinion is that the content of this chamber is very low quality. Most of it is one or two sentence "I have an idea for a story" posts. Most of the story posts are no more than a paragraph.<br><br>This is a chamber for critiques, not ideas. If I want an audience to give me feedback on my ideas, I will go to an idea subreddit. That is not what I am looking for here. What I am looking for here is real short stories that are worth critiquing. I want to read for 10-20 minutes, and then think about all the things I have to say about the story.<br><br>I want to help people improve their writing, but most of the content here makes me feel like I am wasting my time. It seems to me that people who post the "idea" posts don't actually want to write their story, and people who write such short "stories" don't have any interest in hearing what I think about their work.<br><br>I think it's a shame that this chamber is full of garbage. A well-written short story can mean a lot to a person, and I would hope that we are all capable of writing something that a reader will remember.<br><br>That's my opinion. I hope to get other peoples' opinions on this.
