MAGA woman at my workplace has a meltdown, when I tell her I don’t feel safe around her.

I'm a sub for 5th grade, so I'm with these kids all day. One of the other paras couldn't come in. <br><br>One of the paras is MAGA, and has been loud about it at work. She's not the para that was absent today, but she is the only other para in class with the kids I sub for. <br><br>She comes in today wearing a Trump shirt and a 'Save Our Gun Rights' lanyard, around her neck. <br><br>I don't say anything until she's on her phone, talking about how she's going to "Hang out in here and listen to them...etc. etc.". <br><br>I politely let her know, that I'm not comfortable with her in the classroom, and please gives us our space. She has her own room to be in. <br><br>She immediately starts ranting about it being her workplace, she can't be sent out, and sprinkling in unkind words about me. <br><br>I tell her, to please go to her own room, I have a job to do and I don't feel safe with her in here. She leaves the classroom, still ranting. <br><br>Other teachers have heard the whole thing go down, and are now coming in to let me know they think she's unstable and I should be confronted. <br><br>Page the principal, page the principal, page the principal!<br><br>A few minutes later, I get a group text from this woman to staff, telling us we should understand her perspective. <br><br>She's a MAGA person, people have been mean to her, we should be sorry, and not make anything out of this. <br><br>I don't want to die at work. I don't judge these people, but I do know their history.
