GPT-4 is now a subscription-only feature and old GPT-3 versions only get 1k tokens

The new gpt version (GPT-4) is now exclusive to ChatGPT Plus. The old version (GPT-3.5) is limited to 1k tokens. Are they serious? This is way to aggressive to call it a free version. What happened to them not wanting to be evil. That makes the other AI almost as useful.
