The Gaza Strip has been under the control of the terrorist organization Hamas for over 15 years and its people have lost all freedoms. They are unable to demonstrate otherwise Hamas will shoot them.

The strip has become a large prison for millions of people who cannot enter the state of Israel and cannot leave Gaza. The border with Egypt is closed most of the time, and the sea is guarded by the Egyptian and Israeli navies, and the area has become a large prison for its residents.

Unlike the situation in the West Bank, the PA allows demonstrations against Israel and against the PA itself, and the residents of the areas controlled by them enjoy relative freedom in everything related to the economy, demonstrations and all other freedoms. In addition, they are allowed to enter Israel and exit their areas freely.

The Israeli government invests heavily in the West Bank, the new government has just approved the transfer of an additional 600 million shekels to the areas of the PA, the transfer of an additional 180 million shekels to the Israeli Arabs and the transfer of 180 million shekels to the Bedouin of the Negev. The PA also invests heavily in infrastructure and the government keeps investing money in the education system.

The situation in Gaza is much worse. The strip is heavily dependent on Israel and on the PA, and Hamas invests most of its budget in the military field and does not invest in infrastructure, no new roads have been built in the strip for about 20 years and the strip's sanitation infrastructure was destroyed in the wars.

I think the PA's case should be taken as an example, and we should dissolve Hamas and give full control to the Palestinian Authority of the Gaza Strip. It will solve many problems, the strip will be able to flourish and become an island of prosperity.
