**How it will work**: you describe your character to me, and I will tell you my honest opinion about their personality, backstory, appearance, and/or any other relevant details. I'll tell you what I like, what you did well, and then I'll tell you what I dislike, because everyone can improve. I'll give you suggestions for how to improve your character's creation, and how to strengthen your writing "muscle," if you will.

**Why ask me specifically**: I'm not an experienced writer, but I'm an avid reader. I read books from most genres, including science fiction, fantasy, history, horror, memoirs, graphic novels, historical fiction, and even some occasional romance. I know that a character's personality is one of the most important parts of your writing, not to mention that your character's backstory should be well planned out so your personality stays consistent and believable. I know that a character's appearance shouldn't define them, unless it's supposed to. I can point out anachronisms, inconsistencies, and even things like unrealistic proportions on your character's face (trust me, I've seen that in the wrong hands a few times). My friends and classmates often come to me for advice on this because we all know that I'm brutally honest about these things.

**Warning**: I will be brutally honest. I'm not trying to offend you; that's simply how I give my opinions. If you can't accept a critique, please don't message me.
