Why is America such a piece of shit country?

Why is this the only country where it is so hard for people to get affordable healthcare. Over a quarter of the people in this country don't have health insurance and they're 65 million people living on the streets because of medical bills that made them bankrupt. Why is America such a piece of shit country? I don't get it.
