I am being considered for a job in a small school. How would I benefit and how would I suffer?

I am a young teacher looking for a new role. I've applied for a number of jobs and had a few interviews here and there. I am being considered for a job in a small school and another in a big school. I like the idea of a small school, but I am concerned about my workload. I am scared that a small school could mean I have to teach a lot of subjects that is not my specialism. But I also enjoy the idea of; teaching a small number of students, being close to staff, smaller classes, more approachable staff and a generally more positive atmosphere. How do typical small schools operate in terms of their staff? (I'm a high school teacher, grades 9-10)
