My boyfriend called me "the chef" and I actually gave myself the title "Sous Chef"

I'm not a great cooker yet, and have a long way to go to become a skilled cook. This weekend I actually cooked an amazing 3 course meal for my bf and I. I made some tortillas from scratch and used them for a quesadilla and some taco's, I also made ravioli's from scratch and some ravioli's with the leftover filling and pasta.

By that point I was a bit fed up with kneading and rolling out and I wondered "how do chefs do this all day?"

So when my boyfriend said, "wow, you're such a great chef" I said "no, no, no. I'm just a Sous Chef. I'm still in training".

He laughed and said "well, you're my chef" and I said "oh, you mean my sous".

So if anyone calls me a chef from now on, I'll just say "no, I'm just a sous. Like Gordon Ramsay, but less yelling and without the skills".
