Does quitting because of Covid make me look bad?

Hey fellow Redditors. I am a medical assistant and have been working at a pediatric clinic since March. Since we have been getting a lot of Covid patients, I finally got scared and asked them to transfer me to telemedicine, they said they wanted me to stay in one of the clinics and that they would pay me more, I declined and they accepted my resignation. I’m afraid that when I apply for a job at the hospital, they will look down on me for quitting my job because of the virus or because I got “cold feet”. So how will this look on me when I start applying? I live in Nevada btw and I am 23 years old.

UPDATE: Thank you all for your support and kind words, I felt better after reading your comments. I feel better and I’m no longer worried. Thank you!
