An emotionally abusive dad actually did something great to me yesterday

I live with my abusive dad and autistic brother. He got COVID, and now I’m quarantined with him wtf. <br><br>As you can imagine, it’s hell living with him. He’s emotionally abusive, narcissistic, etc. One day, he did something great. He taught me how to make a really great dish called beef and Guinness stew. <br><br>For the first time ever, he didn’t give any snarky comments about my cooking. He even asked for a second serving!<br><br>I’m not saying I forgive him, and I still really dislike him, but this was a small cope.
