Do Americans ever think american tourists are stupid?

I'm British and I love America and its people. I've been there several times but I just know that my naivety or my lack of knowledge of America or whatever just shines through. Like I once went to a shop and the cashier said to pay at the kiosk and I had no idea what she meant so I said "where is the till?" and she just looked straight at me and said "we call it a kiosk, honey".<br><br>I'm sure Americans get this too when abroad. I just wonder just how much they cringe at it.
