My sister-in-law is raging because of her new husband's buy-one-get-one-free meat purchases.

From my point of view and my wife’s there is nothing wrong with this. When you buy meat from the grocery store and it’s 50% off because of the buy one get one free, you can cook and freeze it, use it to make other dishes, make jerky out of it and so on. But there is a certain demographic of people that say you can’t buy meat buy one get one free because of the food quality. The other day my sister-in-law went to the grocery store and her husband bought chicken breast. He saw it for 50% off because of the buy one get one free and tells her to go get a second pack of chicken breast. And she’s done. She wants him to take her back to the store and then she’s going to return the chicken breast, or at least make him go back to the store and return it for her.

From what I understand, she believes the meat is going to go bad because it’s close to the expiration date and then she also believes the quality it’s low because you can’t have two packs of meat for one low price; there has to be something wrong with it. Telling her that you can freeze the meat doesn’t mean anything to her. She’s not going to eat frozen meat it makes her sick. She needs to eat fresh meat. From my point of view, I am sorry, but she’s an idiot. That’s the kind of woman that gets buy one get one free meat, but then goes and buys a steak for $30-$40 and then complains how her grocery bills are so high. From my point of view, she can just go back to the store and return the meat for a full refund and then go out to Applebee’s or some other restaurant and have a nice steak.
