What do I do with gifts that I know are going to be clutter?

I have a lot of trouble when I receive gifts from others that I know I have no use for. I’m trying to adopt a more minimalist mindset and am trying to cut down on clutter. The issue is when I receive gifts that I know will be clutter. What do I do with those gifts? Do I dispose of them? Do I try to find a place in my home? I’m just not sure how to approach this. I understand gifts are from the heart, but I know I’m not going to use it and I don’t want to waste space and have clutter.
