I just saw the most unexplainable thing ever.

I was sitting on the couch, watching my football team lose last night, when I heard a loud car wheel screeching, just outside my house. I got up and looked, and sure enough, a car had just turned the corner and now was headed straight for me and my neighbors house. I didn't see the driver, but I saw the very very pale face of a girl in the back seat, screaming and covering her eyes. It was so pale, it caught my attention. I figured they were about to hit my house, and I was about to bail, but at the very last second, the car direction changed, and it continued on. I decided to go outside to see what the hell had happened. I walked across the street, and saw a normal suburban house with a mom in the kitchen, and a kid at a table. But here is the glitch: the car was doing about 45-50mph when I last saw it. There was no possible way it could have stopped and turned around the corner to continue without slamming into one of the houses. Yet, I saw the car go by the house directly across from mine, and no one slammed into anything. I am just glad no one hit anything because they would have hurt a lot of people. Now, I am just wondering, where did it go, and how did it change direction without hitting anything. There was just no possible way that could have happened, but it did.

EDIT: I thought I should elaborate on this a bit more. I am rather drunk, so I apologize for the very poor grammar, spelling and avg sentence length. The street where this happened has a rather large dip in it, so you only see the tops of cars and the very tops of houses, so that when you're standing outside looking across the street, you can't see the bottom of the houses across from you. I couldn't see the girl in the backseat when I went outside because only the top of the car was above the horizon. Also, the speed the car was going, and the wet road it was on, there was no possible way they could have stopped the car before hitting something. I know they are rather good drivers, as I have seen them do some crazy things in the past. There are a large number of clues pointing to very good drivers, but this situation just ruled that out. The road they were turning onto is roughly the length of a football field, and was very wet, so that just solidifies the fact that this should have happened. As for the car not turning, only turning at the last second, I thought I had lost track of the car, and was about to bail when I saw where it was and how close it was, and then it turned right before hitting anything. I definitely took notice of this because it was the only car turning onto my road, as they were only 2 cars ahead of me. There were plenty of other cars turning corners that night, but that was the only car that turned onto my road. Just to reinforce that idea that this was not a drunk driver, I would like to mention that there has never been a car accident on this road, ever. Even though there is a lot of traffic and unlicensed minors driving very fast, this road has never had a car accident. So in closing, I just want to reiterate the fact that this was a car that was very obviously driven by a very sober person, who is a very good driver, and has never had an accident before. They were not speeding, and they were not drunk, and the road they were on had never had an accident, and they were turning onto a road that had a very large dip, where the only thing that they could see were the very tops of the houses, and they were turning directly onto a house and the avg speed for this road was about 15mph, and this car was going about 45-50mph, and there was another car behind them, but not too close, just a few car lengths, and then they disappeared, but I saw them go by the house and not into it, and I didn't see them drive away, but it wasn't odd, and if they had hit the house there would have been a huge accident. And that is what happened. The end.
