I'm so tired of seeing the phrase "toxic feminism". Feminism is TOXIC by definition.

If you don't believe me, go read the comments here. All the feminists that responded agree that feminism is toxic and were defending it. All the people who disagreed with that basic premise and had an issue with the phrase "toxic feminism" were non-feminists.<br><br>Feminism is toxic by definition, so I'm so tired of seeing the phrase "toxic feminism". To me it's just like saying "toxic nuclear war", "toxic ebola", or "toxic anthrax". It's redundant and stupid to say "toxic ____(insert word that already means toxic here)____".<br><br>Quite frankly, I'm tired of people who are not feminists calling themselves feminists. If you're not a feminist, you're not a feminist. A feminist is anybody who supports the feminist movement. The vast majority of people calling themselves feminists in mainstream media, who are arguing with us, and who are on Chambers are not feminists.<br><br>This is what a feminist has to say about the phrase "toxic feminism".<br><br>> I'm so sick of 5th wave misogynists and their obsession with "Toxic Feminism" and "Radical Feminism" they have no idea what they're talking about. "Radical Feminism" is just Feminism. "Toxic Feminism" is just Feminism again. We're not going to let you, misogynists, tell us what Feminism is allowed to be.<br><br>> If it's not radical, it's not Feminism. And if it's not toxic to the patriarchy, it's not Feminism. I'm so fucking sick of misogynists telling us that we're going about this the wrong way, that we're being too toxic, too radical. Fuck you, we don't want you in our movement.
