Am I the only one who receives random TikTok ads that aren’t in English?

I get lots of TikTok ads from India or China and it’s really confusing because I’m American. I get ads from American brands as well, obviously, but I really don’t get why I’m seeing stuff from 2 countries I’m not affiliated with.
