Is the middle class dead? I swear it feels like everyone's either rich or poor nowadays.

After the pandemic, I've just come to feel this way. With the rising costs of living, I've noticed huge wealth disparities. It seems like people with even mediocre jobs can afford a wide variety of things that my parents could only dream of when they were younger. At the same time, the poor seem to be getting poorer, and some are even being forced to live in their cars. I just feel like there isn't any middle ground anymore.
