Has anyone else noticed that hardly anyone carries on a conversation anymore?

I work at a Subway (sandwich shop) and I always try to be very talkative to all of our regulars to make a connection with them and make them feel like a part of our work family. The last two regulars I talked to seemed very uncomfortable that I was talking to them, and one of them seemed like she’d rather be doing anything but talk to me. <br><br>It just makes me wonder if most people don’t want to have human connections anymore. <br><br>I also have a hard time talking to people and I guess I am a little shy, but once you get me talking I can talk forever.<br><br>This is just another weird thing that I noticed.
